The Wired Tracker is specifically designed to minimise battery draining. The tracker can stay connected to a car for weeks without affecting your battery.

The Wired tracker has a backup battery built inside, so if the unit is disconnected from the main power of the vehicle the device can be setup to send out an alert.

Anyone can install the device and little installation experience is required, first find the car battery or a positive and ground wires. Then attach using a crimp to any available 12-24 volt power source in the vehicle.

Yes moving the tracker in-between cars is straightforward and quick. Simply unplug the device, locate the OBD2 port in the new vehicle and connect the tracker. Next, change the details of the vehicle in the TrackCar portal.

The OBD2 Plug & Play tracker is specifically designed to minimise battery draining. The tracker can stay connected to a car for weeks without affecting your battery.

The OBD2 Plug & Play tracker has a backup battery built inside, so if the unit is disconnected from the main power of the vehicle the device can be setup to send out an alert.

Anyone can install the device and no installation experience is required, first find the OBD2 port in your vehicle which normal near the vehicle's pedals push the tracker onto the port and that's it.

The OBD port is what the technician uses to connect into your car's computer when you get it serviced. It usually can be located near or around the car's steering wheel.

The main advantage is that there no downtime, no wires to connect and it will save you money on not having to employ a professional installer.

If your car or truck doesn't have an OBD port, this may mean it was built before it became mandatory. Please check out the Wired GPS Tracker as it may be better suited for your vehicle. 

There is a myth that Plug and Play GPS tracking devices may damage some electronics in the car and possibly even void the manufacturer's warranty.  The GPS tracker is in no way changing the vehicle mechanically and only receives power from the port.
